Boomtown

I think you all know that Joe wrote that last post. But, I do think it's good to have mosquito representation on this site. I have had a bit of an issue with mosquitos here. And it is possible that female mosquitos only bite females; it hasn't been as bad for Joe. I think there are some ways to combat this issue about which we didn't have enough information before we arrived. I have no doubt that I won't feel the need to mention this in the weeks to come. (By the way, for those of you who think we actually took this photo, it isn't true.) The fact that we added this photo made it seem to us that we've only given a bad, or at least crazy, portrayal of India. We're actually feeling very positive and will make sure that future posts reflect this. As dedicated as we are to this blog, there just isn't enough time to capture all that we're seeing and thinking. But we do want you all to know that we're happy to be here (as much as we miss you). We're here at an exciting time for Gurgaon and for India, really. This is a boomtown. You can see buildings going up around you by the minute. More to follow.
