A friend of ours is, to put it mildly, a HUGE fan of the Welsh football team, Swansea City AFC. While we were at the Pakistani-Indian border watching the daily closing of the border, he had the idea of asking one of the border guards to stand with us with the Swansea City (AKA Jack Army) flag. Great idea except we do not speak a lot of Hindi (me none) and the Border Guard did not speak English. If you think about it, that flag could have said anything. Given the current and historical relationship between these two countries, we were lucky we did not spend the next couple of days as guests of the Indian Border Security Forces.
