Taxi Doors
Almost all of the taxis in Calcutta, like many of the taxis in New Delhi, are Ambassadors. Unlike New Delhi, they are almost uniformly yellow. There are a huge amount of them and it is not unlike midtown Manhattan where you are confronted by a sea of yellow (the taxis in Calcutta are the same shade of yellow). One thing though, it seems like part of becoming a taxi driver in Calcutta includes painting your own personal "Taxi" sign on the the driver and front passenger doors. By this I mean that all of the signs were different on the taxi doors, although they all had them. Just like snow flakes. Well, no, not really just like snow flakes. Still, I thought it was neat.
