So we received a package today from Jin Cho. Nice work Jin. Wanna know why? Is it because the package contained two issues of Newsweek magazine, one issue of Time magazine, one issue of The New York Times (best paper ever)? No. Jin Cho gets the Super Genius award because he included beef jerky. Unbelievable.

Let me know if there is a particular food item from USA that you crave, maybe we can ship it if the weight is not prohibitive.
While I'm not a fan of beef jerkey, I understand there will be a few things you will want.
I find your clock counting down the time remain, very sad. It's cool, but sad. Maybe it would be easier to endure the reverse: showing the number of days, mins etc you have been there?
couldn't find any curry flavored jerky...not that you guys are super jonesing for curry...
what are you craving? can i get a giordano's over to you? i find ex-pats tend to crave pop tarts and peanut butter... you got that covered?
Everyone is so nice for offering us food. We're actually in good shape since we're trying to grasp onto Indian cuisine. Although I didn't realize I wanted a peanut and butter jelly sandwich until I saw Eric's post. It's been at least 20 years??? But we can get it here. Coffee is the only issue we're trying to deal with. Nescafe doesn't really cut it. We just need to find what we want and pony up.
I found these sites...
World's Best Coffee?
World's Best Coffee II?
India Coffee
One can always count on the Cho...especially when dried meat is involved.
Funny, our package has beef jerky in it for you, too! We did not copy the idea because the package went out a while ago, I guess Americans tend to think alike when it comes to sending junk food abroad?!
