Enjoy Rishikesh! Don't hesitate to get in and enjoy the water. Just be careful not to get swept downstream, as the currents can be strong.
On a side note, my grandfather was the chief civil engineer on the suspension bridge in Rishikesh. I hope you enjoy it!
I forgot to ask you and I hope you went white water rafting! Joe - did you chill beer bottles in the cold water current?
