Faces, Paper Street (Chawri Bazar), Chandni Chowk

Okay, it's not called Paper Street, I made that up but virtually every store on the street sells paper or paper related products. I have actually bargained with a couple of the shop keepers when I purchased some school books and binders. You can be pretty sure that I was out bargained but I got a MUCH better deal than I would have in the other stores in Gurgaon and New Delhi. Located a few hundred meters away from gate six of the Jama Masjid, it is my favorite street in India so far. The tiny alleys , some covered, that branch off the street branch out into even smaller alleys just jammed with little stores. I am trying to figure out a way to faithfully capture the images of the little alleys. The guy on the bicycle in the last picture reminds me for some reason of my father.

He could probably win the India's best Hemingway look-a-like contest too.
