Cooking Day

We made Tandoori Chicken, Black bean soup (kind of), Potato leek soup (again, kind of), Garam Masala (from whole spices), Curry (ditto), hard boiled eggs (fallback), yogurt rice, and Mulligatawny Soup. The only picture of food is the Mulligatawny Soup because why bother with anything else. I mean, based on its name alone, how great is this soup? More importantly, it is absolutely delicious. I was worried that it would taste like apples. It doesn't. Please find a recipe and a link to it below. Also, the yogurt rice sounds weird but it's not. It is super easy and super delicious. For good measure, find a link to that recipe as well. Also find a picture of the silk rug we bought today. Kristina is a good negotiator and she picked it up for a song. Should we actually use it or should we hang it on the wall, frame it, or otherwise preserve it?

By the way, those are Kristina's hands on the top left and right of the carpet holding it up. They look like cinnamon muffins don't they?
