Super Duper Delicious And Easy Hummus Recipe

I think that I have mentioned this before in the blog but we have discovered this recipe for hummus that comes out perfect every time and is super easy to make. Most importantly, it tastes great. it was my assumption that it tasted good to me and Kristina was just being kind but I have gotten feed back and apparently it is good. Not much of a blog but if you try to make it you might think this blog post is way up there as far as practical utility goes. Thank you Kristina, Patty, and Olivia for being the tasters. One thing though, don't drain the garbanzo beans (or if you make your own, add some water to the blender/food processor) or the hummus will be way too thick.

Cheers

Hummus

  • 2 cups canned garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
  1. Place the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt and garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the garbanzo bean mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
