From Joe with love

I bought Kristina an Electric Tandor for our anniversary. Think toaster over that generates Sun like temperatures. It's kind of a lame gift considering the degree to which I will benefit from it but there you go. I will work on it next time. We made our first, but not our last, batch of naan. Pictures included. We also went to the hospital to talk to a general practitioner about maintaining a healthy diet while we are here. Get this; we walked in to the hospital (very clean and modern), waited less than thirty minutes to see a doctor (who gave me a quick examination); and met with him for more than thirty minutes. The cost for both of us? 800 Rupees (about twenty bucks). By the way, I am down to 154 pounds. The last time I weighed that was in high school. It might be related to the fact that we are eating almost all vegetables and have not had red meat for almost two months. I think I am on to something. Forget about the South Beach diet. We're gonna be RRRich!!

1. Happy Anniversary!

2. 154lbs in high school = having many older brothers I'm guessing

3. How "fitting" would it be to proclaim as soon as you are rich and ready to come back to the states, you can shout "I'm Gandhi!!!"

We looked at so many naan recipes but I think we ended up using one from allrecipes.com. Check out:

Not sure how authentic it is but we didn't have to trouble with the measurements at all. We're going to try others and will let you know what works out best.
